Today I'd like to share with you a neat little way to store spices and other goodies. I found a site online called Specialty Bottle. They sell containers, tins, etc.. Together with my Label Maker, these little goodies have saved my spice cupboard!
Take a look at what it looked like before!
I know! Have mercy! How in the world did it get that bad?! Well I have found when containers are not uniform and have their right place they get disorganized quick! Not to mention that when things are unorganized you tend to lose track of what you have. I found two half empty bottles of cumin, two half empty bottles of allspice, and an empty bottle of paprika!
I'm so glad I found these little containers! This website has so many containers: rectangular tin, round tin, bottles, jugs and jars. They also carry spice jars, but they are glass bottles that would put me back to where I was. Also, I really wanted the tins so I could easily stack them.
See how nice it looks now? (The bottles in the rack on the side are all seasoning mixes for veggies or meats...mostly to grill with. Since those fit well and work for me they'll stay there. The bottles in the little basket by the turnaround are extras.)
I'm addicted to these little things! Where to use some next? I'm thinking craft closet organization...hubby's work shop...the kid's art closet. The possibilities are endless!! It makes me feel so "Martha"!
I thought one of my lovely readers might like some goodies to organize their kitchen (or anywhere else), too. So how about another GIVEAWAY?! Woo hoo!
Winner will receive:
2 - 16 oz. round tins with solid lids, 2 - 8 oz. round tins with clear lids, and 2 - 4 oz. round tins with clear lids.
This giveaway starts now and ends Tuesday, October 11th at midnight EST.
