I read this book to the kiddos over the course of a few days. At the end I blubbered my way through reading it. Beautiful story.
I love the illustrations in this book!
I love this song. It holds a special place in my heart...so does this book.
Who knows if this "legend" is true or not but I'd like to think it is. ; )
I love the illustrations in this story by Max Lucado.
Great story!!
Great read for when you decorate the tree!
I know this book has a few choice words, but if done as a read aloud you can edit those out. My kids loved it and like the first book...I cried while reading the ending.
We love Little House...especially Little House Christmas!
A great holiday keepsake filled with great recipes and craft ideas.
I love this Gooseberry Patch cookbook! It's full of recipes that are fun and festive and I love the homemade gift suggestions section.

Ooooooo, I love most of those selections and you introduced me to a couple newbies. I have the Christmas giddies now. ;)
Hello, you might like a series of three books that are advent storied and go together. The first book is Jotham's Journey, then for the following years Christmas is Bartholemew's(sp?) Passage( I think that is the name, they are packed away in the Christmas stuff) and the third Christmas is Samantha's Travels. I can't recall the author right now but I'm sure if you look online or at a book store they'll know. They are wonderful advent stories and they are tied together, so in the second book Jotham's character is included in the story and the same with the last book, Samantha's travels, she meets up with Jotham and Bartholemew(sp?)
It's all set up and you read the portion of the story each night, then there is a biblical discussion at the end and each night always ends on a clifhanger. OUr kids couldn't wait for each evenings reading and lighting the advent candles( which it tells you how to set up) Just thought you might want to share these with your children. OUr children are young adults now but still talk about these advent stories. :o)
Blessings,
Kelle
